Licence Requirements

For categories ECMR-CDMR-CDAR minimum age requirement is 21 with at least 2 years of valid driving licence. For groups SDMR,SDAR, and IWMR 23 years of minimum age with 2 years of valid driving licence is required. For groups FDMR,FDAR,XDMD 25 years of minimum age with 3 years of valid driving licence,for group SVMD, 28 years of age with 3 years of valid driving licence are the minimum requirements.

Additional Driver

Nissa ar Rental charges 3,00 EUR per day for any extra drivers. The details of their driving licence(s) must be registered in the rental agreement at the time of issuing contract in order to have additional person(s) drive the car along with the original renter. Otherwise all insurance coverage become void and both the renter and the additional driver(s) will be held fully responsible legally and financially for any and all damages and losses to Nissa Car Rental's property as well as to third parties.

Fuel Policy

Full-tank is not a must. Driver returns the tank with the pick-up level.

KM Limit

There is no km limit for rentals.

Insurance

Includes third party liability cover for the driver(s) plus full collision damage waiver. Theft loss cover is also included which provides insurance with no liability in the event that the vehicle is stolen as long as the renter is able to present us both the key and the registration of the vehicle. The insurance does not normally cover tyre and wheel damage, interior damage, damage to the roof, damage to the underside of the vehicle, damage to the glass parts of vehicle (including the windscreen), wing mirrors, loss or damage to the car key, locks, aerials, windsceen wipers, vehicle documents, registration plates and any additional equipment provided with the vehicle. Clients are responsible for all damage and expenses incurred as a result of incorrect use of the vehicle or misfueling.

The insurance becomes INVALID if anyone whose name is not on the contract drives the vehicle, also if vehicles are loaded with more passengers than their stated capacity; or if drivers are found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Insurance cover will also lapse in the event of negligence or if the vehicle is driven on an unmade road or any road unsuitably narrow for vehicles to be driven on. Insurance may also lapse if the vehicle is taken on a ferry.

Top Cover Waiver (TCW)

By taking out this optional insurance, the renter eliminates the risk of responsibility of any unreported damages (tyres,windschield,headlights or any damages which may be occured while parked) up to 500 TL.

Tyres Windscreen and Headlights Waiver (TWH)

By taking out this optional insurance, the renter eliminates the risk of any damages such us tyre puncture or wrecked/ruined tyre, crack on the windscreen or on the headlights.

Super Excess Cover (SECW)

This means that in the event of accident/damage or theft the renter will be expected to pay the first part of the claim. This can vary depending on the car category you hire. Depending on car category booked, the renter is liable to pay the excess fee varying between 300 EUR and 700 EUR. By taking out this optional insurance, the renter can eliminate the risk of any responsibility of excess charges. This means that the renter pays nothing providing that s/he adheres to the terms and conditions. (Submitting alcohol and traffic police reports are mandatory)

Payments

The total cost of the rental is payable at the time of delivery of the car. The shortest rental period is 24 hours and each additional hour up to 1 hour will be charged at 1/3 of the rate applied. Any fraction is excess of 1 hours will be computed as full day. Payments can be done by VISA,MASTERCARD or in CASH.

Accident /Breakdown/Theft

The rental vehicle must never be removed from the place of accident until police report has been completed and OZAY OTOMOTİV TURIZM TİC.LTD.ŞTİ. (below refered as the car rental company) has been notified. In case of any accident involving your rental car, you must immediately contact the nearest police station and obtain an accident report. The report should clearly state if you were driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you do not report the accident to the police and comply with the requirements under the country's law, the insurance may become invalid. It is mandatory that you also report any accident or damage to the car rental company.

In case of other damages to the rental car, the above procedure should also be followed. If the vehicle is damaged while parked you have to report the damage to the car rental company before the car is moved. In case of theft, it is mandatory that you immediately inform the car rental company, file a police report and then give a copy of this document to the car rental company. Car documents and keys must be handed to the car rental company.

In general, the client must IMMEDIATELY report all damages to the car rental company.

Any unnoticed accident or damage to the vehicle may be interpreted as negligence. This may result in a charge to the client.

Car Types

We are unable to guarantee a particular make or model. The car shown on our website or on the fliers is for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative, similar or upgraded car (at no extra cost) at our option.

Cross Border Travel

For the rentals in Turkey,cross border is not allowed.
